Ken Egbas, CEO of TruContact CSR, who took to Facebook to narrate the fire incident that razed down his house, said he lost everything  save for the clothes he was wearing in the fire incident that resulted from PHCN’s high voltage.
He wrote;
“Today was supposed to be the beginning of something new for me. Got up this morning and left home at 8am and drove 45 kilometers to Pan Atlantic University to attend orientation for the first day of a new academic pursuit. Got a call at 6pm whilst in traffic on way back home that my home had been engulfed in flames from an explosion that occurred in my bedroom when PHCN return electricity supply suddenly which was hi voltage. I lost everything, save for the clothes I had on my back this minute. I am broken, but not bowed. Whomsoever has the telephone number of Lucifer, please tell him I am a child of God…an anointed one at that. He can only put a ‘comma’ to my story. Only my creator can put a full-stop….and He isn’t about to do that. Tell Lucifer that I REMAIN KEN EGBAS…God hasn’t changed his mind about me. What He says I would be, I MUST be. Things He commanded I would achieve, I MUST and WOULD definitely achieve. I AM AN OVERCOMER. No one ever tried to shut out the sun and didn’t get Shut down. This cankerworm is only a blip. I REMAIN an overcomer. I choose to thank God for sparing the lives of members of my family. I have only lost very replaceable properties. The lines remain fallen for me in perfect places in Jesus name. Amen.”

He also shared photos of House on the Rock members helping to clean up after the fire.
“Members of House on The Rock Church In The Home (CITH) fellowship helping clean up after the fire. I wonder what I would have done without them. God bless you all richly. Now one question I have is this- when PHCN causes these kind of carnage, how do we hold them liable thru the instrumentality of the law? Sola Salako Ajulo what should NERC about this? I hear of another home razed to the ground around admiralty way in Lekki phase 1, owing to the power surge around 6pm yesterday as mine did. Loads of properties and lives have been lost needlessly to PHCN recklessness and inefficiencies. We just tell victims ‘it is well’ and leave them to wallow in their sorrows and hurts. This evil flies even under the radar in the media reports etc. I have lost all my belonging and documents important to my existence and my family’s too, due to nothing that I caused and rendered homeless to wit. Isn’t it about time someone tested the compensations laws of the land and sued PHCN to court? I need a lawyer who knows how we can take on this dragon. “
